iv looked over all 21 pages a simple weight mod could be move the edf forewards more and rienforce the nose with fibercloth i will soon be running a diablo withan evo25 lipoly 3cells 1500mAh with an electifly ss 35 an ammo 20 40 3500 with a hyper flow edf and an efflux tube for better thrust and a dx6i i have all the equipment already including 2 hyperflows i took an easy glider and made her into a jet lol fast stable and no motor problems just damn birds attacking it o well so does anyone have any idea how this set up will work i plan to lighten the frame some and make a custom rienforcment setup for the trainer wing all throughout the wing untill the wing tips and add balsa ailerons/flap mixing

Badboy1,

I reenforced my front fuse by inserting 2mm CF rods into the fat part of the fuse from the front, worked great. As far as the dealing with the tail heavy issue, that's easy to correct with a slightly heavier battery. The stock Diablo battery weighs 4.6 oz. The EVO25 3s 1500mah weighs 4.37, even less by a few grams. I recommend a battery like a EVO25 2170mah at 6.1 oz, http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXRVZ3&P=0 You'll balance the plane better and enjoy longer flight times. The EVO25 2500mah weighs 7.3 oz and would balance good also without any modifications to plane.
The eflux tube is great idea. I never ran that motor so I am not able to comment on your proposed set up. Don't even bother with any mods to the trainer wing, go strait to the advanced wings and epoxy them to the fuse, magnets are not enough. I though about lightening my plane also but I felt like it would only weaken the plane.

Don't do it! Stay away! There is something about the plane that once you start you can't stop. It is a bottomless pit that will suck all of your money and time and keep you from enjoying the actual hobby of flying. I was struck but now I'm over it. On to bigger and better things.

Badboy 1:

After reading all 21 pages you still want to play. Ok, go ahead and play, play all day with the diablo. But remember, when all is said and done you did not heed the warning of those who have tried to sway you from the temptation of the evil one, you will have only yourself and the devil. I hope you know that diablo is devil in spanish.
One more thing, put a rubber band around the cockpit so the battery doesnt flop out in flight.

lol ive spent 2000$ in rc this year alone and im only 14 years old l i have no money concerns the reason for keeping the trainer wing is the undercamber im not looking for speed otherwise i would buy another easyglider and put the edf back on it i have a wind tunnle in my garage to test the wing and cog without leaving my house the reason for the evo 25 11.1 v 1500 mah battery is i plan to put a camera in the diablo with its own power set up i have alot of test equipment because i built my own ultralight im into aircraft design so yea i think i can get the diablo aka devil to work and on the slight possibility it wont i have plans for a jet bomber

thanks for the quick replys

well i finished and flew the moded diablo and ....... she flew perfectly landings are tricky because i take off from a baseball dimond and have to climb over a fence the landing wheels are small i plan to put on bigger ones but the eflux tube helped alot as well as an intake lip gun the throttle and she leaps into the air at a good speed i havnt checked the speed yet with a radar gun waiting on my freind but i'll post it as soon as i can sorry most of you had problems with it i guess im just lucky lol

Parkzone T-28 Trojan. Best buy out there right now for a fun to fly plane. If your new and looking for a trainer the Super Cub is the way to go.
