The pure logic of posts 124 & 125 almost caused me to change my opinion, but not quite. Iwill, however ask for a gallon of synth ester something down at the filling station.

BTW. While I always use ATR in addition to castor in my fuel I know that some of you felows don't, assuming you will fly again in a few days. I feel it incumbent on me to remind you of the ever present chance that immediately after returning from a flying session one may be seduced by a bevy of supermodels and whisked off to a tropical paradise, forgetting to care for the engine. Then, weeks later one is likely to waken in a tangle of shapely bodies thinking "Ohmygosh! I'll bet the balls in my bearings have rusted!"

Just a word to the wise based on experience.

I was hoping for a SAE 70 to use in my old Super Cyclones.

What??? Is one of those supermodels named Ester??? Did I miss something???

Fuelman's fuels use some of that ester based oil...and his prices are reasonable.

Sorry, the only way to run one of those today is to get a quart of early 1940's vintage motor oil off theBay.

Back at the ol' motorcycle shop....we had this antique old funky fork lift.
The back of the shop was about 1/2 open to the outside, and there was
a couple guys working in the breezeway that was covered. Anytime the
old smokey forklift went by, it would stink up the place, especially if the
smoke blew inside the shop.

Finally one day, one of the fellas wised-up....and when the Boss wasn't looking
changed the oil in the forklift with castrol R-40 (straight bean ) heh heh heh....

....after that, when the lift went by, we just smiled. The smell was wonderful.

FBD.

Nope. Just go to a good Harley shop. The partial case I have now is Rev-Tech, distributed by Custom Chrome, but there are other brands available.
Most of the ignition jobs will also run on methanol and castor.
