Hi,

Work is getting rid of a few old laser printers that still work.

What modelling uses could they fulfill? Can you use a laser printer to print directly on to covering - decals and numbers?

If you could reverse the font or pattern you could try printing on the underside of clear monokote.

Prining on Thermally sensitive material ? - I guess that would stuck badly inside of
the printer.

In fact those printers have pretty nice El.motors and Gear wheels so you can
use them for Electric RC building.

Check out this system. http://decalprofx.com/

With this system you can print and make your own dry transfer graphics for your planes (or other things). All you need is a laser printer.

One thing to note is check the cost of the toner cartridges for those printers. The replacement costs coult send you to the poor house if not careful.

The fuser temp in laser printers is over 100 deg. C. No covering material please!!

If they work just use them to print stuff from the forum.
