Status: offline 		Hi,my friend said tomorrow hes going to bring his onroad nitro car to school.All he knows is that its 2wd...does not know the name but knows its 2wd.He thinks it s a suburu,is that a good or bad onroad car.He said he payed $700,but he can lie a bit.If he includes the shell and the transmitter and reciever,it is $50,but id itsa just the car,without the shell or reciever or transmitter it is $20.I know it wont be in the best condition since he forgots what its called,thinks hes lost the shell etc,but i will be looking at compression and the shape verything is in.
Any tips,or what nitro onroad car should i NOT do the trade for,example smartech,sinc eim not much into onroad atm.Will keep you posted.Thanks.

Status: offline 		None are crappy but some are cheap, which may or may not translate to crappy, depending what your expectations are. Personally I would 'just say no' to a 2wd on-road car, full stop. You need to show us or tell us more details about what it is and what it comes with. Lastly, if it 'looks' in bad shape, then it is in bad shape.

Status: offline 		Yes crappy i mean brakes easily,not hop ups,bad engine bad handling etc...He is going to bring it tomorrow(couldnt today),he thinks the name of it start with y and is 2wd.

Status: offline 		20 bucks is 20 bucks, don't take it unless it really looks like it's worth it. 20 bucks for an RC car may sound cheap, but if you can't get it running, you might as well have paid 20 bucks for a housebrick.

Status: offline 		we're not sure if there even is a yokomo nitro 2WD car, he said it starts with y, so thats the only company that does. Foxy mdae a good point when he said even if you do get it, itll be hard to find any parts for it at all.
