I have the old 110 LMH. Got used , and the crutch is pretty ghetto rigged. I mean like little blocks of wood glued on to hold things in position because of crashes. So my question is, which crutch do i buy. My lmh has a gyro (not the arlton) and the Vmax7 in it. Any info or comments would be helpful too.

well 1bmf, depends on how yours is rigged, I got a used one with all kinds of extras, even 2 crutches and the .074, mine is a 110 too ,, on the 117 crutch the .074 already fits the others you will have to trim out the engine bay for that motor to fit, and it has an area on the nose for the gyro, I have seen mods where the gyro is on the rear of the crutch, but you didnt mention this,, a few folks have switched the engine and gear over to the other side of the crutch so that the exhaust flows out free of the rotor gear, I need to be a better flyer before I try that,.. mine is in pieces at the moment putting the .074 in myself, I had built up the 117 crutch but, at this point I think it will be easier just to cut out for the .074 on the 110 crutch,, I would offer to sell you mine if my skills were MUCH better:p , hope it helps.. I'll look though I may have another one.......Rog

Basically, the crutch is the chassis of the helicopter. Its what everything is mounted to. ie. engine, servos, tail boom, etc.
