Yeah but at least you can walk away from the flying field not smelling like caster oil. Your Girlfriend will like you better....lol

No problem, I use synthetic oil in my fuels.

Well I have a few flights on the Phantom now. It flys just like the Kelly, straight as a arrow, and does exactly what you tell it to do. The Phantom has good ground handling as well.

I love doing low fly-bys. I can put the airplane 3 fee off the deck and let go of the controls, and it will fly nice and level, without any input.

Just a all around fun airplane.

Carapis,
I just got my Phantom and I'm thinking about using the 55AX myself. What muffler did you use? From you pics it looks like the new Slimline Q-series. I was looking at that one hoping that it would fit in the cowl. I hate cutting a cowl more than I have to, especially one that fits as nice as this one does. In your pictures it looks like it's hanging out the bottom....is that how it fit?

I've been looking at the cowl on this all night, and I've concluded my best bet is to use a 4-stroke and see if I can swing the muffler. Even If I can't the cutout for a FS muffer will be much less than one that fits the OS 55AX.

I'm leaning towards a YS 63S now. I've always been an OS man, and I have lots of their 4-strokes, but I've always wanted a screaming YS and this looks like the plane for it!

Thanks Carapis. I've ordered a YS-63S to put in this! Should move this thing around nicely!
