Totally not fair for the CP guys. The CX just wants to hover. Take your digital cameras and put it on film mod! It is great to watch them smack into walls and such. Nice work CXCP+

naah, plenty fair. He also opened another challenge for steadiest hover excluding the coaxial guys. I just put that vid up for comic relief even tho I did whack the rotors.

If you all agree with me, we can add an extra point, for every hover-second in each cp or cp pro contender.
Example.
A guy with a cx total hover time 135 seconds, final score = 135 points (plus added stability and tail hold)
A guy with a CP total hover time 70 seconds, final score= 140 points (Plus added stability and tail hold)
What do you all think?

Keep them in separate categories. The coaxials and FP Helis fly too differently.

There's nothing stopping the CP guys from starting their own contest!

got it up to 18 seconds, but it;s still all over the place - i need to remember that this is more about setup than action - trying again

I agree, it's all about the setup.

I've been giving this a shot too with my video camera. Got something around 20 seconds, but improvement still being made.

Hehehe, I've got great footage of some wrecks while filming and rushing back to the radio to land at the last sec...One in particular, my bird comes streaking back and smacks into the remote & me. Might have to hold the radio up to the camera as you did. Damage control...

Ok all, here we go, 30 seconds. Handsfree starts at 21 seconds and goes to 51 seconds before touching the controls. I did have to move the remote at 46 seconds to keep the bird in frame.

Thanks. I'm using the DX7. Much, much better than the stock remote.
