Hard to say... I think I got some glitching (minor) too.. before I put the motor back onto the chassis, I will try solder on 3 capacitors to hopefully get rid of that!

I love seeing people doing custom work on their machines! When I have my own mill and lathe, that will be the day!!

Instead of dual motor, though, I think a single BL is the way to go. But nonetheless, nice!

That seems to do the trick. The single capacitor they've wired between the motor terminals doesn't work very well. From what I've seen you've absolutlely got to have one from positive to ground, and negative to ground. I'm very happy my glitching problems are gone for good and I now know the reason this time.

how do you think a ep blizzard would handel with the stock electronics and moter out of a stampeed xl 5?

i figerd i could buy the blizzard, used stampeed with venom 4000 battery and a charger for under $300

The blizzard will handle the XL-5 stuff fine. I run the same set-up.

Also I'm running the XL-5 motor now too, just not in the picture here.

I had a lot of glitching once i put my XL-5 stuff in, and couldn't fix it, so I stopped using it for a while, then when we got snow I went and tryed it and it worked great.

How do you guys run it in snow with non-protected electronics....is the body water-proof enough to not let water in?

To LB: No issue so far, but I may buy one soon.

And those pics were when I was putting them in, but now I have receiver with a balloon around it, but nothing with the ESC, might put a bag over it or something.
Also since the XL-5 is big, its hard to get the body on.
