Too loud and messy for me... ha! So I think I am going to stick w/ electric.. but I do try brands other than Tamiya..

Blizzard, for one.. (Kyosho..) ha!

I also got a AE TC4 FT...

LOL!!! There you go LB. I dont much care for nitro since I have a brushless B44.
The blizzard wont be as fast because it is heavy. But it will surely tear up snow banks and stuff.

I can see li-po batteries being a big asset to make it lighter still. I never seriously considered investing in Li-pos before, but idea of being able to tip-toe over light, fluffy snow drifts even better is very appealing.

Note the difference in the length of the screws -> longer new screws are needed to accommodate the brake pads..

The brake setup of the Blizzard..

The silver cylinder is the piston used to push the steel brake pad against the other pad..

When the servo pulls, it turns the cylinder w/ a notched in the middle, the notche pushes the small cylinder / piston out to apply pressure to the brake pad..
