Got this info from Making Trax... was told that the old EV model does not have the aluminum brace between the chassis..

That's why I went w/ the DF-300!

But you can buy the part separately from Kyosho. It is like $11 or something. So you can get the old style body and just add the brace. Just as good!

Am I right in assuming that the steering is controled by a brake being applied to one side or the other?

This is going to be a sweet build (or re-build ) Will you be running a water proof esc for the snow? Or does the body seal the inside up?

Nice Blizzard Josh

You can make one for sure.. or if you want, you can order the brace from Kyosho directly...

Josh, nice GP Blizzard!! How do you like it?!

I will balloon my RX (Tamiya balloon, no less, hee hee.. ).. still deciding what to do w/ the ESC yet.. maybe run my LRPs (they are all waterproof..) or just run the TEU-101 for now..

It is sealed okay, but not great... but in order to make the ESC stop working, you'd need a lot of snow on top of the ESC... (and then it started to melt) So it might not be so hard to make a shield or something..

We will see! Maybe take the LRP from the M-03M and put the TEU in there instead.. then I don't have to worry about the waterproofing aspect!

It obviously has to be a Tamiya balloon, no other would do I'm sure the TEU 101 would be fine under the shell, the only way it will die is if it is completly submersed in water and i couldn't see that much snow/water getting in....

Do you get much snow where you are?

It has been great so far but the stock engine is truly made for inexperienced nitro hobbyist and its really toned down the fun but I plan on swapping out the gsr 11 for an OS CV .12 I have. By todays standards its a slow motor but it won't be over powering and very easy to use. I have modified mine from a 2channel setup to a 3 channel one. Less tranny grinding between forward/reverse

Just need to put my pullstart stuff on it
