Lol, I know just the native, and I hope you get the snow. It took a long time, but I finally uploaded the entire first run video. Please ignore the quality and the driving technique(had never driven a tracked brushless RC before) and focus on the speed/acceleration/steering.........http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YeI4acrTEEI

Well. got 4" of real wet snow. I put on the new 30T pinion and the cat really flys. Problem was in turns it would sink down and spin out. Real wet, soft stuff. Instead of 2 track marks, it looked like someone had made a path with a scoop shovel. In a straight line tho, it hauled.

Wild weather!, we are also supposed to get that type of snow soon, we'll see. At least you had some runtime, it's been dead around here. I made some alterations to the body(temporary), and secured the suspension from bending.

Ha!, it was them or the mobile breast exams "mammo-van" (the hands-on professionals) . I did some measuring to begin building a Thiokol style snowcat body.

I like the Mammo-Van idea !! The new bod would be kinda neat navy and weathered looking. I'm parked again ( no snow ) Back to the matrix arena or axial for awhile. Post pics of the body build. Should be interesting.

Here is what she looks like after a run, no snow gets inside, and everything is constantly cooled.

I'm thrilled, except I need to remove the brake setting. It needs to be Forward/Neutral/Reverse, right now it's set at 50% brake, and it does cart-wheels if I let go of the trigger too quick. One thing I wanted to know was how well would it jump, the answer is perfectly, it got nearly two feet of air several times and just kept going. The CG/balance is lowsy for climbing, but just right for high-speed jumps. I'm leaving the suspension alone, it's actually right on for crusty/hard snow landings. The brakes are less twitchy after I adjusted them, but only 60% ideal, Dupont Delrin pads should fix that.
