I am rebuilding the tiger on from HL stock to metal tracks et al and updated electrics.
I have decided on the colours for the blizzard it is going to have a red cab and black body. I have got to get some bearing for the wheels and drive train. ( read most of the post's in the topic to get some ideas on what to do to update the blizzard) it arrived this afternoon and is sat in it's box on the work bench with the tiger waiting for me to get the polycarbonate paint for the paint job. I hate cutting polycarbonate, so am going to take my time as I do with all builds.

Status: offline 		bearings have been ordered and I have put some silicone grease with added Teflon into the differential. what a pain to take the Blizzard apart just to get the Diff' out.
I have painted the cab red and the body black as I said in a previous post. I am not going to put the cab decals on the blizzard because I find them too fiddly to apply.

Sounds like it's coming along. Pic ? Yeh, those stickies are a pain for me. I just did the pipe and headlites. Are you doing the breakpads also ?

Breakpads do wonders to tame the steering control, etc. I ended up using a fibre gasket material. Glue to each caliper pad and trim. All 4. Be sure to trim out the material good on both holes ( one is elongated ) so they move freely and float. You'll need to replace the bolts with 4 longer ones due to the material. Well worth the effort.

Should be a 27T. I originally used a LRP Plus esc ( worked good ), then a Sidewinder/4600 Brushless combo (=fast). Neat vid , thanx. Green grass ??? where's da snow .. lol

Yes grass is green Don't know if it is the same colour in the USA. LOL,
I know it is the wrong time of year to run a Blizzard but am getting it ready to take to Cornwall with me in July and run it on the beach whilst on vacation near the seaside.
I am going to buy some LED lights to put on top of the cab so that it can be run at night also the light cluster will have tail lights so that I can see it going away from me in the dark.

Status: offline 		I have ordered the lighting kit and am waiting for it to arrive. it has two red rear/stop LEDs, two ultra bright white LEDs for the head lights and two yellow fog light LEDs
I am going to mount them in the chassis and not on the cab as I said I would in a previous post
so the front will have the two white LEDs as far apart as possible and the two yellow LEDs side by side in the middle and the two red LEDs will be at the back as far apart as possible all will be mounted just above the fold in the front and rear panel.
I have ordered an ESC to run the blizzard because they are better than the mechanical Speed controller, also on order is a switch to turn on and off the light kit which will be mounted under the main servo/receiver power switch I will post some pics after I have fitted the lights.
