Im glad that I stumbled on this forum !!!! Its great to see that people are enjoying the Blizz, Im using a 3300 batt and i get like 1 hr of drive time if i crawl, I enjoy driving this bad boy to scale, Ill probably buy another soon.

Has anyone had to replace the ladder chain in their blizz? And what are the weak points about this model?

where did you put the switch. I put mine on the back next to the main power switch

Yup, just to the right of the main switch. You can just see the 2 silver screw heads. I wish the camera would show it. I painted it in heavy metal flake. It really glitters in the light.

I put my light switch on the left hand side
I have spent most of this evening replacing all of the bushes for bearing races and it runs a lot better and faster with the ball races in it

A picture of the diff in pieces whilst upgrading the bearings, sorry about the quality, I took it with my mobile (cell) phone.
I also filled the centre up with grease, I have not got any diff lock oil.

Grease should do ya. If not, try for 100k diff oil. Did u do the brake lining yet
