Use the stock motor with a different speed control. I am running a Castle Creation 35 with a Thunder Power 2200 mah V2 battery and am in the 90 mph range. I never leave home with out this model. Good luck.

I used the stock motor and fan unit but am running a Castle Creations 35 amp speed control. The stock speed control burnt up when I started running a Thunder Power 2200 mah V2 battery. With this set up, you will draw 28 amps continuious with 275 watts for 7 minutes. Good luck.

Excellent tip I just purchased 5 2200 Thunder Power Extreme V2 packs for the f-16 and My Stryker.

I have some 3S-2250mA 18C lipos, weight 191gr. Can i use this in a stock setup or are they too heavy?
