I installed a new 200GB hard drive. Previous AFP install (with expansion pack and 168 update) worked perfectly for years (80GB drive). I installed the program, then the expansion, then the update as per the website. Windows XP and all apps are on a 30GB partition.

I get this error: Aerofly Pro main executionable has encountered a problem and needs to close. Then it goes bye bye. When I first launch I get the black screen and the blue and yellow logo as usual.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

CHM, could you post your tmlog file here? The tmlog file can be found in the AFP program directory. You can open the file using a text editor like notepad or word. Have you considered upgrading to AFPD for a low cost?

Hi CHM, I only need the tmlog file. Could you post the full file, and don not truncate any part of the file. Thanks

Hi CHM, for AFP you will need a open-GL 3D card from Nvidia or ATI with at least 32 MB. From your tmlog it looks like you're using the on-board video card. Which video card do you have and did you install it properly with the latest drivers?

Mike, (thanks for the help) it's the same video card that came with the machine and it's been working for years with AFP - an NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX400.

The only change is that I upgraded to the new drive and reinstalled all my software.

I could search for driver updates???

Hi CHM, the card will work fine with AFP but it seems like the card is not installed. You may also want to use a backdated driver as the latest nvidia drivers are huge files.

I'll try that. Thanks! By installed I'm assuming you mean software-wise since it is physically where my monitor has been plugged in since 2002.
