Status: offline 		Seeking some advice on dihedral angle.
Whilst building my current kit I have followed the building instructions in relation to joining the wing panels and calculating the dihedral angle, however since the epoxy has cured the wing tip seems to have raised itself another 2.5 - 3mm. Increasing the dihedral angle.
Is this angle super critical to flight performance and stability or will the effect be negligible

Status: offline 		Hi There from Richard in Portland, Oregon USA. You did not mention the type of plane you are building; so what my comments are will be general in nature. The slight increase in dihedral may not affect your model very much. My only thought is that the plane will fly a bit more stable by itself. If you are building a low wing fast plane, inverted flight might take a bit more controlling, and maybe a slight more aileron control to change flight direction. Other than that, you may not even notice any flight problems at all; so continue with your construction, and report back what you find after flight testing.

I agree with Rich. It probably won't matter enough to notice. 3mm? What type plane and what wingspan? Obviously the wider the span the less effect the 3mm will have inverted or not. The great thing about building is we can modify as we feel fit. So somtimes when I'm building I'll increase or decrease dihedral based on what I want the plane to do.
So, what are you building??
