I'm new to the turbine community, but not new to turbines in general. I just set up a turbine development suite @ home.

Computing power consists of;

Dual Athlon MP 2200+ processors
3.2GB or DDRAM @ 3300 bus
3D Labs WildCat III 6110 card (barely fit in my box!)
2x 131GB SCSI drives @ 12,000rpm


My software includes;

Solidworks 2003 (use it a lot)
Maya 4.5 (for 3D rendering and simulation testing)
AutoCad 2002
RCCAD 2.2


I plan to design model aircraft using these software tools. My first project is the SU-37 Berkut. I like FSW designs and I love Russian aircraft.

I just found a good bmp of front side ant top drawings of the Berkut. I will trace it over SOlidworks and make a 3D image of it. Then I will play around with materials, I will use RCCAD to play around with the airfoil design and test fly it in G2.
