I just finished putting my new differental bolt in and while assembling the slipper clutch I came across this step:

So do I tighten this locknut till that spring if fully compressed then back it off!? I dont wanna break ANOTHER part by over tightening!

yeah tighten it down till it stops. you'd have to have super hands to break that i think.its rather tough.
just crank it down till it stops then back it off 3 turns like it says

seems like 3 turns wouldnt be that far out at all.......
