I don't think the manual has been completed yet. I have just used the 88 manual as a guide and what has been posted here etc to help.

I wanted to pass on some information to those of you waiting to get your hands on one of these airplanes. I have been on the waiting list for about 1.5 months now, and was talking to one of the ladies at EF earlier this week about landing gear for my 50 cc YAK. I asked about the status of the 110" shipment while I had her on the phone. She told me that the quantity of airplanes coming in this shipment is less than originally planned. She also told me that I am far enough down the list that I will not receive an airplane out of this shipment, and will have to wait for the next shipment that is targeted to arrive about 30 days after this shipment arrives.

She didn't tell me exactly where I was on the list, but she didn't have to do much figuring to determine that I wouldn't get one.

Well I spoke with Chris before he left for Joe Nall and he said mine would be in the first shipment in 2 weeks and Ive been on the the list 2006.

Well for you guys waiting, I just hope all of the hub bub that is happening in China right now with the recent earth quake does not affect their ability to ship out product. I know years ago when the earthquake happened in Kobe, Japan, it was months before anything left their seaports! if the shipment is on the water then all will be cool, if not, who knows!

I was about to install horns to the ailerons, when I realized that the thickness of the aileron is different at the horns. This means that the horn's length in relation to the hinges is different, if the provided horns are used. Which then means that the servos will be prising against each other, if they are used in same channel. The difference of the length is few millimeters. The two holes in the horns do not solve the problem, because their distance from each other is different that the length difference, in direction of the push rod. In addition to that, only one hole is at the hinge line. I was planning to use one channel for two servos in Powerbox, which does not have adjustment feature for servos. Did you manage to install and make the servos and ailerons work normally without using servo matchboxes, equalizers or programmer?

yes that is also a good point with the earth quake.warm weather is short here in the north it may be time to look at something else and make this a next year plane

no problem with the first shipment they were afloat before the earthquake...

Trying to work out if I need to open up the covering on the underneath for cooling in the cannister tunnel. My KS cannisters extend to just past the gear plate and obviously the tunnel extends a long way rearwards of that. I was thinking that it would be better to cut the panels at the rear end of the tunnel as this would induce a better airflow through the tunnel - any suggestions?

I'm thinking of doing the same thing on my EF 88" Extra. Even though I'm using a pitts I want to open up the covering on the bottom for air flow. It's a no-brainer IMO. I just need to flip it over and do it before it gets too hot outside.

Saw the 110 in original scheme fly at the Nall. Brand new DA-85 on pipe Mejz 28x10 at 6400 (I think he said). 26.5 lbs and incredible flight including vertical. That has got to be the hottest setup for the plane. As usual the man flew it with great authority and precision.

There was another 110 there in Black and Yellow...I did not get to meet the pilot but the plane really stood out on the 3D flight line even with all of the 40% everything else up in the air.

Im glad to finally hear about the 85 powered 110"? Sounds like it'll be easier to handle money wise for sure!

How was the prop noise,was it loud?
