DD, not sure about the 74", but the 50cc is going to real cool in the original Color scheme. Extreme Flight RC has some really cool stuff coming out!

How would you guys like the 88" Yak in the original color scheme?

Definitely. I might have to sell my red and white 88".

I am about to go into flying withdraws. I haven't got to fly in about a month. I hope to start on my 110" in a few days. It made it through my move without any damage.

i know they are, driving me crazy, already hinting to my wife about how pretty the extra is, so the bigger illeged 80cc(102" version will be even better ...a must have imo, and this 110 yak also, might as well get the 74" for when i dont want to use my trailer too

Anyone looking to power this plane should look hard at the BME 115/6. Same weight as the DA85, or less weight. As winter rolls around thats my plan. Can you say "Rips going vertical"
That origional color scheme rocks. The red stripes is right on, the blue/yellow is sweet. It'll take me three months to decide

Got 4 gallons thru the Yak now and it gets better and better! Tried a few props and settled on the Menz 27X10 seems to be just the right combo with the DA 100 for 3D work. Plenty of power with the DAhovers at just under 1/2 throttle. I moved the CG back a little and it really tumbles great now. Knife Edge is insane with this plane..Only needs a little more than 1/4 throttle to hold a HA Knife Edge all the way across the field with absolutely no coupling!!! I haven't been able to nail down the torque rolls yet but I need to set up a throttle curve. I can pretty much fly all day on full 3d rates-it flies very gentle with no bad tendencies at all..no worries about snapping over etc.

I was a little concerned about the "new" DA 100..The old version ran great so you never know what will happen when things are changed. Happy to say that it runs just as good as the original!! No problems with transitioning from inverted to upright, so far its never skipped a beat...

joe, did you say you are using stock mufflers too? if so thats good to hear that you dont need a pipe, i always have used wrap around pitts style muffs so far on my gas and i like the sound and performance, but wasnt sure if we were pushing the envelope with weight on this one, doesnt sound like it if you are still on stock muffs, awesome, i guess i shouldnt be concernec cause the same thing happened with the 88", i was sure about power but stuck to my plan with a zdz60 and stock muff and worked out great, just enough power to keep me happy and daring , someday i will get this bad boy and go with a zdz100 most lilkely and stock muff... although zdz has a 120 that isnt much more weight than the da100....so that may be a thought too, as long as its still easy to balance with a little exttra nose wieght, power wouldnt be a concern at all then either i suppose

Hello all,

Does anyone know when the next shipment is due in? This is one heck of a nice looking Yak. Also have been having trouble getting onto their websit as well.

cool, still working on the wife with this one, i may list my 88 yak just so i can get this one quicker, id miss the 88 though, my favorite plane to date, but i imagine this 110 will be worth the sacrafice, ...according to specs the da is: 5.8lbs, the zdz 100 is: 4.7lbs, and the zdz120 is: 6.4 lbs....so the 100 is about 1lb less and the 120 is roughly 3/4lb heavier, you think the 100 is the way
