Status: offline 		Just got a Walkera 4#3 heli with a lipo 3.7 440 MAH battery and a 4.2v 500ma charger. There is absoultly nothing in the short instruction book that say anything about how long to charge the battery. There is a green/red led that is green with no battery attached and red while charging. I am hoping it goes green after an hour or 2. Does anyone know how long this should take to charge?

Status: offline 		the 440 mah is a one hour figure and the charger (500 ma) is faster than that so it will deliver 500 ma/hr.

Since it is 4.2 volt and a lipo it hopefully ramps down at end of charge causeing it to take more than 1 hr.

All lipo chargers should be automatic stop.

Status: offline 		Yup, it turned off after 1 hour...I guess lipo takes about 1 hour to charge at 1C while mimh take 1.5 hours at 1C....Thanks
