Does the ultimate use a ply wood plate on the outside of the bottom wing for wing bolts to pass through? Does anyone have any pics of this?

Can someone shome me there wing bolted to the plane and then a pic of the bottom of the fuse where the wing bolts to the wing.

The wing bolt blocks in the fuse are recessed in the fuse inside one of the formers and I thought they should sit flush with the wing to add support for the wing when it is bolted in place.

Thanks for any help

Yes there should be a thin ply plate glued to the bottom of the wing for the bolts/washers to seat against.

Tom thanks for the quick response. Should the plate cross the span of the two bolt holes or should there just be on e ply plate for each bolt hole. Any ideas on the rest of what I am talking about.

Thanks again for all of your help

Install the plate across the wing joint, over both holes, in one piece. If you have some small scrap balsa blocks laying around you can make two filler pieces that will fit between the wing and the inside wing mount for a little extra support to prevent the wing bolts from getting over tightened. Drill them for the wing bolts before adding them to the inside wing mount. It's not needed but works out nice.
