I have never been around anything that needs four servos on the rear. How do they work? Do you have to do anything trick ? Curious as they install on both sides . I have a x3d 52 fusion. Curious as to how its done???

Status: offline 		There are a few ways to run multiple servos to one control surface. I like to use a Smartfly Equalizer 2. You simply plug the Equalizer into one of your receiver channels and two servos into the Equalizer. The Equalizer allows you to synchronize the servos by matching their end points. It will also allow you to reverse an individual servo if necessary.

Status: online 		The 52" Fusion only has two servos in the tail. One for rudder one for elev. Did I missread your question or are you talking about a different plane?

Good day

Well I guess I kind of wondered about that. The instructions and the pics are pretty sparse and every pic I saw looked like there was two on each side of the tail. There is no instructions that tell how many. And there are spots on both side of the fuse for them. But you sure made it a lot easier to put together. Thank you

Status: offline 		The servos you see on both sides of the tail are the same servos. Just seeing the front and the back of them.

Status: online 		Mike since your at that point. If you are an extreme flyer put 4/40 rod on the rudder. I bent mine doing knife edge loops with the plane. The stock hardware has too long of a run to use 2/56.

Hope you have it figured out. The pics in the manual show the typical tail servo installation. One elevator and one rudder servo is what is required. Pretty much standard setup on every 40 size profile on the market these days. Obviously being a profile the servos will stick through both sides of the fuse so that is probably what is confusing you.

Why 20%? Are they that pouchy? Better to use OS FXI 46? What size prop for both? Not going to do 3d.

Status: offline 		This is just pretty much what everyone says regarding the 4s engines. I know my Saito 100 runs very poorly on 10% nitro. I use 20% and it runs much smoother and more reliably.....plus better power. There are many threads on fuel and tuning for the 4s engines. I have never run an OS 4s so am only speaking from reference.

Status: offline 		I think a lot of it is personal as well as climate/ altitude. I run 15% here in everything 2 and 4 stroke and it works great for me.
