I got this tank at a swap meet and am about to put my gear in it. When I was cleaning the dust off, some of the black came off easily. I just think they sprayed some of the black on parts that were not clean. Now I am working on the underside and some of the green camo color is coming off revealing blue monocoat.

Anyway, do you think I should just leave it, or should I spray the whole thing with some flat clear? I don't have a lot invested, but I would like to keep it looking somewhat nice.

Thanks in advance Jeff

Oh, the main wing / body is foam covered with monocaot and the ends are coroplast.

I was about to suggest that you were in the wrong forum when I noticed it is a flying tank. I had a flying Indy car, all made of 4MM coroplast. It was not very manueverable. I have a coroplast flying lawnmower that is very manueverable. I would like to read how well your tank flys.

Thanks Villa. We had a pretty big snowstorm last night here in WI. My Tank probably won't fly 'til spring.

Did you have any paint on your flying Indy car?

Jeff

Your mower and Indy car look great. I've done several SPA3D's and PBF's. I've used the vinyl with them as well. I bought some satin finish Krylon clear today will try later in the week to see how it goes.
