Hey Virginian, Sounds like you are well on your way. I just built a jig for another project boat, no small feat considering I can't seem to find a flat level surface anywhere in my garage, lol. I ended up using 2 granite window sills leveled up with popcycle sticks as my truing stand for the jig...don't ask ! It came out square so that's all that matters, lol. As for my build, I might be able to have some pics of my new cowling construction tomorrow...I am redesigning my cowls to reflect the true scale look of the 7 litre boats. Building from scratch is never boring, eh? I plan on sealing the inside of the hull so I can lay down the sponson tops and decks after Christmas so I should have some pics of that next week. I need to buy a radio, what gear are you planning on using in your hull? Can't wait to see the skeleton when you get her all set. Take care, Scott
