I just got my Tornado BB. I notice that the metal arm attached to the throttle servo pushes up against the pullstart when I try pull on the tx trigger. the pull start gets in the way of the metal arm when I brake or add throttle. See the attached photo. anyone else have this problem?

Is redcat gonna fix this design flaw? I mean there was a time when the pullstart got trapped between the servo arm and the throttle didn't close complete so that can cause some problems. Anyway I fixed it with a paper clip.... here is a photo.

before I got the tiger drive I used tie wire and went around the head and over to the spoiler(wing) support and back around the head again wi the wire. This way I had a continous wire from the head to the wing mount and left the pull starter on the oppisite side of the wire from the linkage. Thats worked too.

I fixed this problem by removing the pull starter, rotating it 90 degrees, and reinstalling it. The screw pattern is symmetrical, so it will work. I had to trim the opening around the engine a bit larger so the pull handle would fit. No more interference problems with the throttle linkage!

I also put in a rotostart now. Never going back to pull start again. the car fires up in a few secs as opposed to a few minutes of me yanking.

u have got to use a cordless drill with the tigerdrive because they don't seem to have there own electric starter?? and the throttle servo arm hits the rear body post causing run aways so just bend it (learn t that the hard way lol)

go to home depot or Walmart and buy a cheap cordless drill. Then you can start up your car AND do work around the house
