Hi everyone,

We have followed the request of a few customers that have MS-Vista computers to make the Weatronic Software work for these applications. We have included installation of the software, in the language the computer is set up for, as well.

You can download the new software as well as the new Firmware for free from our website at:

http://www.weatronic-usa.com/index.php?option=com_docman&Itemid=31

The registration with at least the email is intended for us to be able to keep you updated for future updates.

You can also send an email at sales@weatronic-usa.com or call and have a CD with the new software sent to you. This will be a $10.00 charge to cover costs of CD, shipping and handling.

Furthermore, very important, there is a new video in a different Forum and on Ali Mashinchy's website that explains the weatronic unit in a nutshell. Thank you so much Ali for doing this!!!

Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you

The Weatronic Team

Hi Gerhard,
Nice to meet you ( so to speak) I look forward to a time for real.. Maybe Florida jets?
No problem for the video. I am from a very different background than a lot of the current Weatronic users, in that I am a flier and not the most computer fluent of people. I was getting feed back that a lot of normal model flyer's were in the same position as me, and that they liked the ideas within a Weatronic, but were a little putt off by the technicalities. My video was more of a simple mans guide.
I look forward to spending some more time on this forum and learning from you guys.
Regards Al

Hi Ali,
We met at Florida Jets 2007. I was there together with Axel as an observer and translator.
In the mean time I have taken over the Weatronic USA distribution and opened up a new website under www.weatronic-usa.com . My goal is to help build up a world wide information base for the Weatronic user community to have a resource and exchange platform. I lost a dear friend to an RC accident in my early RC-flying times and have dedicated most of my life promoting and enhancing safety.
I would not be supporting Weatronic if it weren't for the huge leap forward in the safety aspect. All the other features that come along with it are to me the icing on the cake.
I hope to attend Florida Jets 2008, so we might meet again.

Thanks again,

Gerhard

Ali,

In the operating instructions page 30
2.4.3 Status Displays at the Control Board
At the control board there is only one flashing LED which displays the used battery: One single flash for battery 1, one double flash
For battery 2. A flashing LED is normal when the receiver is powered on. No LED would indicate a problem. This was stated in reverse in the video.

Thanks

Ken
