I plan on using revo shafts on another vehicles. They might need to be slighty shortened though. Is it possable to take the two halfs apart? The only reason I ask is because of the rubber dust boots. If possable I would sand or cut each half and put them back together. This plan may have a few flaws, any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Also, is this for two or four shafts?

So the shafts are solid, right? Because if they were hallow I might run into some problems.

Thank you for all of the help.

one half is solid, the other is hollow. both have teeth on them to make then grip to each other. but yes you have to cut the dust boot (big deal)

^^^thats why it has a cv boot or dust boot to protect it from sand, dirt, water, or any foreign things that may jam it
