Hey,

I'm pretty new at this whole R/C thing, but I just bought myself Leopard2 A6 from VSTank . As i was just messing around with it turned the turret back as far as it could and fired. The funny thing I found it recoils like firing forward. Something they have to definately change in the software.

Are you referring to the jerking motion when you press the cannon sound if so good luck I believe darkit has a circuit for IR battleing that stops the jerking motion

Harold, he's talking about the smaller 1/24 VSTank models. They jerk like HL's do (I just never press the G button) and can't be "fixed"... the recoil-back action on all tanks can go to hell as far as I care

Doesn't so much worry me because I don't use it (K button - oops I wrote G up there). Darkith DBU can disable recoil action if you cant help but press the K button. I dont think they'll implement a more-realistic recoil because that'd need turret-position sensors etc

I can handle some recoil but if you put it to scale that tank flys back like 3feet. I still think they should change the recoil and make it fire properly depending on the turret location. It would make it more realistic. YOu have to have some recoil so you cant just cut that out.

I know, I know suprisingly the air you breath is still free. BUt I was jsut saying if you want to be the top or "the world's number one" you have to go the extra mile spend the extra buck. Don't cheap out on profits, build on reputation.

They're sold as toys - kids don't care if it recoils or triple-backflips, it's a tank and it's "cool"

Then us enthusiasts get hold of them, size them up and do our thing, accurize them. De-toy them and make them into miniature versions of the real thing, something to be proud of.

It's wrong to expect too much of them (turret angle sensors etc), they're in it for the dollars, heck I think its awesome that theres so many good products out there right now to base projects on...
