I seen a video of a RC drag truck..it ran 150' in 5.05 seconds.. the timing gear said an extremely high MPH of 73 MPH...but the truck looked to be doing closer to 40 MPH..... does 5.05 in 150' seem awefully slow for a 73 MPH trap speed ???? I am not really familiar with RC drags, so any info would be appreciated...

are you talknig about that revo video???? that is does 73 MPH??? man if thats the video your talking about i think that video is a load of BS.........the tree had to have not bein set in MPH.......... im running my revo with a RB MODDED PICCO 28 P3 with 21/36 gearing wide tranny ratio and 40 series wheels and last time i clocked it it was doing 61.......... the video has to be a load of crap......im actually thinking about stepping up the gear ratio integy makes a aluminum and delrin spur gear for the revo 34 tooth count i got about 10 of those derlin 34t spur gears laying around im try one in and try a 22 clutch bell and see if it can push it.....

if ur not talking about that revo then never mind......

Yeah i'm talking about that Revo LOL..... no way is it running 73 MPH...thing doesnt even come close to a wheelie..a P3 28 will wheely at 45 MPH if you let it

Man im glad im not the only one that picked up on that i sawthe video i think 2 weeks ago.....and i jsut started laughing for a good 10 minuets

Yes, that is WAYYYYY OFFFFFFFF!! Just to give you an idea, the guys that dragged here in Miami would put down 75-80 mph traps speeds in a less than 2 sec run. Official drag strip length is 132 feet. Those numbers are way off!!!
