The radiator is really quite simple. It is just 4 1/16th plywood plates slightly taller than the airfoil. You just match drill (or if your lucky laser) a bunch of holes for the "cooling tubes". I use soda straws for those. The top frame and deck are 1/64th ply. It is primed in the picture. I will next spray the tubes with aluminum engine block paint and then mask them and paint the rest to match my chips. Allan, the fuselage is 3/32" balsa sheet the panels are but jointed using Great Planes Thick CA. On the Albatros, the only real challenging part is the tail cone area. You can look back at Semeraro's rant on that:-). If you stick to the scale paneling in most plywood aircraft, the sheeting goes on pretty easy as they didn't design many compound curves in as that would make the plane harder to build. One trick on the sides is to use longer pieces of sheet for strength and then just score in the panel lines with a very sharp exacto. when you stain the fuselage the stain will accumulate and you will not be able to see the difference compared to a real joint. I just stained mine (finally!!) today and will post pictures in a few day once the tone of the stain mellows a little. It is horrifyingly dark when first aplied. I always almost panic. It is already looking much better. I like to let it set about a week before clearing. DJ
