I have a friend that bought a Aircore 40 and would like to know what glue to use. He doesn’t want to use contact cement what glue would you use? The plane is made of Coroplast.

I use polyurethane glue and a woodpecker on all most all My coro now.
CA works great for some people, the trick is to, prep the coro and not use too much CA and do not move the glue joint at all once You touch it together.
Click here for linkto gluing coro.

Nothing is stronger than CA that has been applied to flame flashed coroplast. Test for yourself, I did and the results are obvious and repeatable.

You are correct, however with woodpecker and poly it's possible to pry apart a glue joint to fix or replace a spar or ripped aileron hing etc. then re-glue it.
