Losi brushless, traxxas brushless. there are no-name brands that sell them, but they are not exactly "quality "

just saying.. brushless is a pretty penny. if your going to get a bl truck, motor whatever, you should do it right. you will be rewarded in the long run. parts support will also be better with any of the big brands.

I would agree with Pede_kid. Those Nitrotech/Redcat/Exceed/Himotos look like about the cheapest. They all look pretty much identical to me.

The Brushless system is from Novatech. So it should be pretty decent. Should compare very well to the Velineon. On paper the specs are pretty much the same. Perhaps buy a nice car (read Evader or E-Firestorm) and fit one of these Novatech systems?

That is... IF you can find one of those systems for sale anywhere. If anybody sees them somewhere? Please pass the word?

You mean $325 not $225

This place has the BL systems

Brushless Motor

Brushless ESC

For $120, you really can't beat it

how do you know that's not a brushless system for 1/18, not 1/10?
I don't see any specs on there, and the price looks like 1/18

There is someone on here that has it and uses it for his Rustler. He also said the esc is 2x the size of a mamba esc!

The site doesn't say but I think you would be safe with a 2s lipo.

Like I said, I couldn't tell ya for sure.
