the only jet drive that big are for gas, it could work with electric i guess but ur gonna put way too much money into it. a trolling motor or even two would be the cheapest way to go thats also safe for the dog. Hook them up like out boards and make a big servo turn em.

I dont know we're talking about a dog here, I would use twin 29mm graupner jets, it very well could plane out and it would be comparably cheap. I could just see someone spying you driving the dog around and call the police or worse PETA. At least with jets you'd be protecting the dog and you. Investing in say a big swashdrive jet unit with a neu motor might be a bit much just for hauling a dog around and by too much I mean too much money. That and it's a tunnel hull so you really need twins, one in each sponson.

I figure twin jets on 4s with larger brushless motors would work. I would go with motors with more torque, like XL sized feigaos. Being my villain does 20+ and weighs about 6pounds. This is doable. Could put a dummy motor on so it looks somewhat correct.

Now I just got a crazy idea, and it would be very trick, let me do a little photoshop.

WaveWalker - What's the status?

hmmm! the cold weather slows down the project but still goin on,,i'm thinkin' of twin electric gaupner outboard will do the job just shooting for cruising speed and no high speed..well, not worried of PETA or whatever coz i have a proof, check the pics, this dog will ride on anything, from a walker with basket, mountain bike, even in jetski i'd just put him inside the backpack strapped in my chest and just let his head pop-out ..

Hey Dogman,

What is that mono? It's cool.

The jet guys are absolutely right! Put one of those big Graupners in that mono with a 1527 1Y - plenty of torque, etc., and that jet will be killer! Guaranteed to plane. I have a small Graupner JetSprint and that boat is probably the funnest RC vehicle I have ever run. It only goes about 20 mph, but it's only 22" long so it looks like it's hauling and it spins, jumps, blah, blah. The cool thing is that you can jump over logs, wood, turtles, run it up on shore, and it just blasts right through - no prop or other undercarriage - just a simple pump (with reverse!) All the lady dogs will love it.
