Status: offline 		Has anyone used/checked out this system on an airplane? How is the range vs. drop-outs? It is hard to believe they are selling them for $50. I've tried 1.2GHz 800mW systems I found on E-Bay and was poor quality.

Status: offline 		Mine cost around $500.00 a year ago and the complete system with batteries weighs almost a pound. I'm going to get jealous if one can get one for $50.00 and still look good. Post a video when you can. I've pre-ordered the FlyCAmOne ver2 and am curious what it will look like.

Status: offline 		Check this site out.... This is what we are using now, very successfully, with a few very slight modifications to the camcorder. Very inexpensive, good quality video and the memory card is only $5 when you purchase the unit. The 512K memory card gives you about 80 minutes of continuous video.

www.aiptek.com click on digital camcorders link on the upper left and scroll all the way to the bottom to DV4100M for $24.99

I would like to try good quality realtime video.....

Status: online 		Man I'm looking at their hd aiptec off the website, looks really good, wished weight was listed. Would be nice to use something like this as primary camera for drivers, seat, could record high def during flight and possibly use it as regular video camera to ground providin you could hook up the output to some sort of ghz transmitter.
