Thanks for your compliment. We really try our very best to put out nice ARF's. Its especially gratifying when the compliments comes from such a fine modeler.

Can i use wood props on the rcv120sp, cant find anything locally and i want to get it started on the breakin. what about the singer 4 blade props, will thoise work ok for this project? Still havent recieved the retracts yet so as soon as i get them i will post some pics. I was thinking of the zinger 17x12 4 blade or the 16x14 4 blade probably both to see which one works better.

anybody get there retracts yet?? anyone else building one of these?? got to break in the motor some today. seems to run well, starts nice. using a 18x14 prop for breakin, turns it no problem, had it up to 5100 rpm.

it was just attached but power was removed, I have it switched on my field box, I was getting about 5100-5300 with an 18x14 2 blade apc prop. I an a bit dissapointed in that the 16x14 4 blade zinger prop I just got is too much load, cant get more than 4300 rpm out of it. guess i might have to go with the apc 15.5x12 4 blade prop. Got about a little more than 1/2 gallon through it so far, i can get idle down to about 1400 rpm so far. seems good so far.

I guess i am the only one who bought one on rcu. Retracts came in today. I think they look pretty good. alot bigger and very stout looking, rotates good, tested with compressor a few times and moved smoothly too. Struts are ok, standard strait struts, Wheels look very nice, tail wheel looks good too. Here are a couple of shots.

as far as the solo prop, I think they are sweet, but i believe the hub is too big for a plane this size.
Just wanted to show you a SOLO prop on a KMP spitfire.... and A RCV 1.20,,,, The same engine you have.....
I think you would love this one your skyraider.... No issues with the hub size for this one..... Carl at solo props makes everything size related!!! It will look good, trust me on that one!...... And you can fine tune the pitch of the blades, so you can get the best performance out of them!...... Closest thing to having a real pitch adjusting prop....well sort of...
If you want the exact outline of the props on the real skyraiders, send him a pict, and he will make an exact copy for your plane!....
