I haven't posted in a few weeks because I have been out traveling for a while. Had a chance to visit the Toledo show earlier this month and really enjoyed it a lot. I was very impressed with Wild Hare's 50cc Sukhoi and as soon as I obtain the electronics for this great looking bird I am ordering one. Last week I worked some on the Baby edge and finished adding a few improvements. I installed the new carbon graphite landing gear from Ohio Carbon which looks more rigid and will not bend like the original issue gear. I also moved the ignition module, batteries and receiver slightly to the rear, and removed the lead weight from the elevator servo area. I replaced the elevator servos with a pair of Hitecs HS-5945MG's, and the throttle servo with an HS-225MG. I added a Futaba MSA-10 matchbox to handle the 5945's and that way got rid of a small linearity problems I was having with the previous HS-635HB's. I re-balanced the CG by adding 1.39 OZ. of lead inside the stab tube for a net saving of 1.46 OZ. from the previous setup, and maintained the CG at 4 and 5/8" from the leading edge at the root. Hope to test fly it this week and will report into how it handles with this set-up.
