Check out the PICS of the Kellett in the Autogyro Forum. Scale, rotary winged, cheaper than Heli's, more rare than most fixed winged aircraft! You want unique, check out the Autogyro forum.

Notice

Check the Model Airplane News web site. WWW.modelairplane news.com
There soon will be info about their January 2003 issue.
Also on that site will be a complete report telling about and how
to a new developmnt for rotary wing blades.
If 50% quicker, no manual labor and outstanding performance
is of interest the word would be, look at that report.
Good luck!

Steve T.

Any idea on when/if you might have the PCA-2 in production? That would be a "must have" in my book. Also, are you going to be at the IMS show in Pasadena?

Hi Dan,

Thanks for your inquiry: The "PCA-2" is way on the back burner. At the earliest, a year from now and we'll probably put it off for another year after that.

The new Pitcairn "Cabin" should be released by this Christmas. If that goal is reached, we will see you in booth #641 at the Pasadena Show.

Steve,

Thank you for the information on the PCA-22. I will definitely look for you there at Pasadena. By then I should be ready for one of your Kellett autogyros.

Hi ya'll,
Are you one who has noted the interesting, different way to use
R/C that Autogyros offer? Have hesitated trying them because of
lack of knowledge, what makes those rotary wings work? Perhaps
they appear complex, rotor head mechanics have not been in your
experience? Maybe the rotor wings (blades) seem a major effort?
Would believe any or all of the above could deter one.
Happily recent developments have relieved such concern.
If you have given a Gyro consideratio add the following to your
research. such advancements have reduced all effort greatly.

1> 11/2000 RCM presnts a simplictic infinite control rotor head
that any school boy could assemble from purchasrd parts.

2> 9/2000 R/C Report gives an in depth explaination of what
does and how the rotary wings do their thing

3> On web> www.modelairplanenews.com presents a new development which makes a piece of cake out of producing precise rotary wings (blades) Method is common modeling.

Would hope that these innovations will be the answer to any
concerns you might have.

Would be great to see you flying up a storm at a Gyro gathering!

Have questions, need help and/or whatever about Gyros I would
be pleased to reply to your personal E-Mail

Seems Mr. DeBolt forgot to mention there are well-designed R/C Autogyro Kits already on the market? These are well-tested, fly beautifully and eliminate any need the modeler has to research the rotary winged aerodynamics necessary to design such an aircraft-type. These autogyro kits from AUTOGYRO COMPANY of ARIZONA mean the homework has already been done for you!

These kits relieve the modeler of ALL machining of parts, completely eliminate complicated metal head parts and in most cases, presents the modeler with a one-piece rotor blade!

Please check out ACofA's website for color flight photos, FREE video clips and all the specs for a truly simple and enjoyable transition into autorotational flight.

"Gord"

There are you guys then there are folks that need a kit. To get a complete picture of what's available, don't you think both should be mentioned?
