Bought an old racer, the servos are probably 15yrs old, been sitting for years. Futaba 3002, they seem to work fine but wondering if I should replace them.
Any thoughts?

I used them exclusively on the flying surfaces of my racers from 1994 until about two years ago, when I switched to Futaba 9650 digitals. The metal geartrain can get sloppy over time, but otherwise 3002's are among most reliably servos used in racers over the last 15 years. I've only known of a couple failures. As long as there isn't a lot of slop in the gears, I wouldn't worry about them.
