I want to buy the Tamiya E30 M3 body, but without having to buy the tt-01 kit.

Any ideas how I can accomplish this?

Try tamiya america
You will need:
main body
H-parts
J-parts
rubber bushings for mirrors
3x10mm tapping screws
(you only use 4 of the screws)
Stickers
2 body clips to fasten mirrors
Not including the body clips or shipping, the whole lot costs $58.60.
The next cheapest way to get this set is if you pay $70(plus $30 is shipping) to a scalper on ebay.

Geez, might as well buy the kit and give it to my girlfriend for her to play around with.

You mean for the kit? They sure don't have the body, I checked.

^That's what I was afraid of. I really want that body but not the kit. I may buy it just for the body then put a different body on there and give that one to my girl.

That's the one thing I like about HPI, any of the bodies they sell with a kit you can get separately.
