This is an easy and cheap way to fix the stiff swashplate problem. Pull the plastic tub out of the swashplate and cut about 1/16 of an inch off it and put it back down over the shaft(the peace you cut). Now take a peace of small fuel line and cut about 1/8 of an inch off it and slide it down over the shaft and push it tight against the peace of plastic tub(hold up on the spur gear and make sure it is up tight). Put everything back together and your good to go. The swashplate will not fit on the shaft very tight(it will look to big) but it will work great(I have been flying mine all day).

Where exactly are you saying to cut it?
I could not tell from the pictures.

Attached is the SWASHPLATE ASSEMBLY.
I assume you are talking about the top crown part.

So are you saying to make the hole bigger in the
center or cut 1/16th off the bottom of it where
it presses agains the bearing?

Or are you saying something totally different?

Thanks

After you take the swashplate off, pull the plastic tub out of the swashplate. Don't put it back in. Cut off about 1/16 of the tub and slide it back down over the shaft and put it up tight against the bearing. Now take a peace of (SMALL) fuel tubing and cut off about 1/8 peace and slide it down over the shaft and put it up tight against the peace of plastic tub(this will hold the plastic tub in place so it can't slide up the shaft). Put your swashplate and rotor head back on and you are good to go.
