Yes there is a roto start backplate for the Avalanche.

Im not sure but this says it fits a .28 motor which is whats in the Avalanche.

hey i just got mine car and i switched the steering servo for a hs-645mg and it works great, winterized it to and its running good been jumping it, stuck on 1980 chev body looks pimps, but todya i ran into something and broke the front lower sus. arm and rim, and i was wondering were i could get new ones, arm is sold out of site but the rims im not sure which one they are

you can run them in any temp as long as they stay pretty warm, like 180 min, you can wrap the cooling head with aluminum foil to keep the temp up. they are usually pretty hard to start when they are cold and you dont want to lean the needles too much to keep temps up or you can ruin the engine due to lack of oil.

thats cold too, i am a little confused when you say it stops running when you hit the snow, does any snow get on the engine? it may coold the engine too much and stops it from running, its very hard to get a nitro to run good in 20F weather, never the less -5c. maybe try wrapping the head with aluminum.

not really, thats a pretty large tank on it now. I dont think you will find anything, i think most if not all 1/8 have the same capacity.

Not all tanks are created equal 175cc for some and then there is 290cc fits MTT, Mammoth and XLB............HeHeHe
