Well guys.....my ZN Line Extra 300 LX arrived on Thursday just a couple of hours before I was about to leave for Toledo. It is a all wood kit with pre-sheeted wings, stab, turtledeck etc.Quality of the work is top notch as well as CAD drawn plans and a instruction manual, which BTW is written in a very understandable English, not like many others which I have seen that come with kits made in Europe. The plane is 35% and is for a 100cc class engine.I will be installing a 3w 100 QS in mine. The guys at ZN stuck to their set delivery date, and a big bonus was receiving first hand info of what was happening at the factory while the kit was in manufacture as well as pics were sent to me by Mark Novak who works at the factory.Everything was well packaged and the kit arrived without any damage.I feel that for the $$$'s I have received a well engineered kit and look forward to starting it.Will post pics at a later stage.

Fly safely

Hi,

I'm thinking about getting one of these myself. How complete is the kit, how much work do they do for you, is it ready to cover??

Hi Andrew....all the flying surfaces have been sheeted.Fuselage has to be built but is a jig lock construction, and appears to build very quick.Turtledeck and top hatch have been sheeted.Ailerons have to still be cut from wing LE/TE fitted and hinged.Elevator and rudder same story. The wood cutting is of the best I have seen, and I prefer it to laser cutting where all the edges are burnt and all wood has still to be sanded before glueing.Have a look at their website www.znline.com you will get a good idea of how the kit comes.

Selwyn,

I take it you ordered the kit directly from the ZN factory, correct? Can you tell me how much shipping cost and how long it took to get it?

Thanks,

Tony
