It's all about less cost per bushing. The vintage bushing is solid nylon while the new version is hollowed in the middle. Now they can get three bushings with the same amount of material it took to make two vintage bushings.

Yeah, most likely TEX is correct on that. I don't think there's any reason other than being slightly lighter and use less material. Although it makes you wonder, though, how much $$$ can you save from them bushings...

But then, didn't some airline reduce ONE olive from each of the salad that they serve (this is from a long time ago, when they serve real food.. LOL!), and they ended up saving like a million dollars a year or something like that.

So things do add up, when you make enough of them!!

I think you will need a real job to buy this one from me.. (joke)

Like I said, I might have to run it and take some good action pics... as a service to RCU.. (joke)

Those rear shocks look like Frog re-re shocks. Can you confirm, LB?

well, the shock body looks similar, but the top mounting point is black plastic on my Brat. however, those dogbones and output cups look identical to the ones sitting in my parts bin.

Hey LB,

here's my newest project: A pretty worked up Wild One!

It's in a sorry state at first glance, but there are few missing parts and nothing's broken.
But a lot of time and effort are required here. And this one is definitely going to be run!

I have a complete new body kit on the wa
