Everyone that i have spoken to that has had a problem with an engine 9 times out of ten has either sent it to brian with note and cash and it comes back fixed or they have phoned him and got the answers. I have not had to send an engine to him but mearly spoken to him on engine care and maintenance.

I do know that Brian is not god when it comes to these matters but have found his advice useful. I may have got my wording wrong previosly and correct it now. It is my understanding through the hobby shops i have delt with that he is an authourised repairer for several brands. As for being the only 1 maybe, but i had never herd the names of any others.

As for Brian being an 80-20 man, you must have used synthetic oil because when i have spoken to him he totally and utterly detests the use of castor oil in engines
