Do you think it will make sense to drench the plastic parts in WD40 and let them sit, will those make the parts more durable? IMO the petroleum spirits in WD40 will degrade plastics & rubber over time, won't be too surprised if they grow hairline cracks & fractures. Trying to figure out how to keep those plastic part from breaking. No , I dont think that would do anything . I would get the alloy front uprights (c hubs) and alloy rear bearing carriers and BOIL the rest of the plastic in water for 30 minutes . (full on rolling boil , dont worry they wont melt) Be careful not too let the water boil away ! Then drain the water and let the parts cool slowly , I have found this works very well and I havent broken an a arm since . I got my 3 Racing Mini Vendetta ST wheels and they bolt right on no problems ! Look killer and LOTS more traction than the stockers have . But they are pin tires so they are gonna wear quick on anything except dirt or carpet . But good news is if you find a set of wheels that fit the Mini Inferno ST they should fit the NOW also ! I have a set of Mini Inferno ST CVD's coming and I will post if they work with the ST arms on the NOW . ( a whole set of CVD's and alloy arms for the Mini Inferno ST cost as much as just the Trinity alloy a arms by themselves) !
