Thank you very much for your responses!

That helps.

1 more thing, what do you guys do with the charging outlet on the battery when you're driving it?
It seems like it could get damaged when driving if it's just hanging out there.
I suggested to my brother to put a rubber band from battery post to battery post and tuck the charging
jack in there.

Any other ideas or is it ok the way it is?
Great pics too!

I would get the NOW , its bigger , faster , and I would bet it will out handle it . and for 50 dollars more you get alot IMO .

If you threadlock the motor , you shouldnt have problems . I have several runs on it and I havent had a problem .

I ordered my parts directly from Trinity , but Tower Hobbies , A Main hobbies and a few others are carrying the NOW . Its just so new nobody has inventory yet .

Dont get me wrong the Vendetta ST is a cool truck , just not on the same level as a Trinity NOW , especially not stock for stock .... That would be a joke .

Thanks for the comparison pic KRO. It is a fair amount bigger than the RC18T and the Mini-T.

KRO- Are the aluminum shocks worth the money? I was thinking of getting them but wanted to know how they work. Also what does a swaybar do?

They seem about the same as the plastic ones do , I just like the bling factor .

They do have a different seal than the plastic ones do , probably easier too rebuild .

They sway bars are there to help keep all 4 wheels flat on the ground during corners .

Update on my broken outdrive:

Got an email from Trinity, they are shipping out a new outdrive for me.
So far their customer service has been very good.

take the rear sway bar off. and Remove the set screws in the arms to allow full droop. Makes it handly so much better

I have a couple 70mph passes on mine with 8000kv motor and 17pinion. 13t is stock. its stupid fast with 8000kv motor

BS. I want a video with an accurate radar gun to prove that claim. 40mph is fast for a 1/16th, you just think it's going 70mph. You originally said 60, now a 10mph jump in speed? No.
