Status: offline 		Thank you for the advice.I will try to find them!!!Which pinion needs to be changed?Do you have the car enough time to tell me if it is reliable or not?As far as i know the quality is lower than fg's but it is a very good car!Can a faster engine of greater diplacement fit on this car?Although the default engine that comes with the model works fine and has good performance!

Status: offline 		Hey german27, I have the car. So far, I think its a good car BUT you have to get good tires for it like Allan said. Ive cut the shock springs down, changed the shock oil, lowered the ride height, packed heavy grease into the diff as to lock up the gears somewhat and all my car does is spin the tires like its on ice. My last hope is getting a set of the softest grp tires and see what happens. The only major thing that I suggest you change immediately is the Tx and Rx. No problems with the stock servos so far, but the stock radio equipment sucks big time!! As far as changing the engine for something bigger....see how fast you can get it first. If you need more speed, swap out the stock engine for full mod zenoah.

Status: offline 		I must agree. The stock tires are complete crap as is the tx and rx. One of them just started acting up. If the rx battery is anything less then full charge it starts to get what seems to be a intermittent signal. I haven't taken the time to do a full diagnosis. I was going to replace them anyway but now its just sooner then I expected. As far as the wheels and tires go I replaced the stock tires with a set of Kronos, 27 on the front and 20 on the rear. What a difference!!! The car really came alive and it is so much more enjoyable to drive. As far as the engine goes, I'm going to change the carb and pipe which I plan to do in the next week or two.

Status: offline 		Thank you all for replying.As i see is a good car!!What is Tx and Rx?For radio equipment i have already a good set in the Merder.I can buy a receiver and fit it.I just need trims end points etc!!

Are there any dif or pinions that i can fit to gain better high speed?So i hope that spining in low rpm will reduce!!!

How long do you have the cars?I am looking forward to see pictures!!!Do you have any?

Status: offline 		The Tx and Rx are the transmitter and receiver. You say you have a good set that you run your marder with. If your transmitter has mulitple model memory, then all you need to do is buy another receiver and install it into the ford.

Status: offline 		Hey mstalli, are you running the stock clutch spring? I was thinking of changing it to the 8000 rpm spring. I figure using that spring and "rolling" the throttle to full instead of the usual hammering, the car should hook up well. Are your tires spinning at all since the tire change?

Status: offline 		Johnny, that would be a great upgrade. When you have the right tires and the weather warms up some, that 8000 rpm spring is gonna make your car launch out of the corners like a rocket.

Status: offline 		I cut open the side and rear windows. Also, the decal on the rear of the body has two exhaust pipes. Drill out the two "pipes". That lower body panel will sort of act like a parachute if you dont make those holes.

Status: offline 		If i just open the exhaust pipes and the holes that the original car has on the front.You know.The refrigerators openings.Will that be ok or i will experience heating promplems?
