www.RCScreenProtectors.com Hello Folks, We are pleased to announce that the dies for our latest RC Screen Protector, the Futaba 12FG, are now complete! This has been the most requested screen that we don't yet make and we are very pleased to announce that it is ready! Our list of offerings is growing and we now offer Screen Protectors for the following transmitters... Futaba 9C 9Z 12FG 12Z 14MZ JR 6102 7202 9303 10x Spektrum DX7 Currently we are working to add a list of Screen Protectors for surface use modelers and hope to add the Futaba 3PK and 4PK along with the Airtronics M8 and M11 very soon. We work really hard to make sure modelers find something they like and can use and it makes our day when folks are pleased. Shipping times are a mystery for me. I had to call the film engineers. They in turn had to call some folks. The answer is that it does not offer UV protection. If it turns out that that is a quality we want, we may be able to have that incorporated into future production runs of the film stock.. I don't see why it is important, they don't come stock that way and if it was an issue I think that maybe they would. My tx is not out in the sun enough to worry about it.... just me.

I have been told for years by a friend of mine that the screens are sensative to UV. So, I have been very particular to protect the screen over the years. I would never leave one in the sun for long term but it would be great if the add on screen protector provided UV protection as well. Why not? Whether it is a serious issue or not, at the cost of today's high end radios we should do every thing possible to protect them. My opinion is that it would give you another selling/marketing feature especially if it does not drive cost up too much.
