Any NJ people around here?? I know some of you are lurking out there. Speak up!!!!!! I'm up in Northern NJ (Sparta)

Need someone to run the trucks with, then grab a beer or 2 afterwards!

haha...Yea I'm from New Providence which is like central jersey i think, people used to run trucks at Lucent Technologies but I dont know if they still do

im in Long Branch (central) about 1:30 from Sparta. Its pretty far but wierdly enough that I am reading this post because I actually have to go there tomorrow night... wierd!

Another Jersey guy here. I am wondering besides the Dirt Runners track, and the little track over by Champion Hobbies in Hillside where else does anyone go? I live in Edison, I would love to find another track and even a cool bashine site. Thanks in advance.

Your not to far away from Jefferson speedway (Dirtrunners) You should come up. I am in Morristown. My brother-in-law is over in Clinton.

Always Trains and Lanes in PA. Could always hit Trax70.

And there might be another track opening soon near Champion. Will let you know.

We have made a track in Sayerville, very nice layout, nice size crowd (25-35), and two classes (buggy and truggy) ran every Sun. Also, we use AMB lap counter system so i would recommend that you have/get a transponder. Any more ?'s reply to me in private email and i'll give phone number and explain more. This past Sun. was week 1 of our 10 week calender so try and get in contact with me. Maybe we see you gys before the season ends..

Trying again huh spikeit? You remember what happend last time we tried to get some guys to show up at the track? No one showed. No one responded. Theres no computer screen to hide behind at the track. LOL I expect the same result..........silence. LOL

Jerz, nothing at all wrong with the dirtrunners track infact I think it is rather entertaining. Well except for a few weeks ago when it was soaking wet and the racing surface resembled butterscotch pudding. But I am not a racer(rc anyway, I have a Mazda Miata that I race on the track) and just like a bit of variety, I live in Whippany and head over to that track once a month or so. My 4yr old son has a Grasshopper and he can navigate the whole track on his own, my step son is 9 and he has a Rusty, he is getting better at driving on a track but the stock tires and handling of the Rusty make it a bit hard for him. And I have an HPI e firestorm and am just starting to tune it, but I think it is a great budget machine.

Greggie - yea it can get that way after a good soaking. have you been there in the last three weeks? We totally changed the off road track. Its excellent. Now see thats the great thing about dirt runners. We have classes for everyone. Your boys can race in the amateur class. You probably can too. But youd get the hang of it quickly and win a lot. Then the board will move you out of the class. You should give it a try sometiime. Therse lots of dads with kids there. Tons of fun. Ill be there with my son..............eventually. Just have a wait a few more years. Hes only 2.5 months old. LOL
